Unable to join the beta

As specified in the pinned message in this board I sent an email to request access to the iOS beta but I got this reply:
Registration required: Unable to create ticket

I have an account both here and on the openvpn.net site and I wrote the email from the same address...

Hello,

Try going to openvpn.net, sign in with your account, then click 'support' at the top.

Then either submit the ticket here, or send in your email message now. It should now be recognized.

Hello,

You can sign up at ios@openvpn.net but since we do not have a version in beta testing now, we cannot add you until we have a new version.

The last beta version was 1.2.9 which is currently live on the iTunes store.

We expect 3.0.x to enter beta sometime in the next couple of months, so we suggest holding off on asking to join beta until we actually have a new beta version finished.

If 3.0 is not in beta, how are a lot of people here using it already?
