Next Update in Future

If OpenVPN 1.0.7 was released after 2 years after 1.0.5 was released, when is the next release planned? If I update to a later version of iOS after 1.0.7 came out, OpenVPN will inherently be more unreliable and will time out more often from experience with 1.0.5 which became more unstable the more you updated iOS.
