openvpn blocks subtitels kodi android tv box, help!!

Hi, i'm Shy from holland.

I have a Android TV box, and kodi is installed on it.
Also i have a vpn by private internet access.
when i watch a movie with subtitles, openvpn blocks the subtitles, meaning i can watch the movie, but without subtitles.
When i turn openvpn connect off, evrythings works again, but i'm not protected by a vpn.

The weird thing is, when i fool around in the settings, the subtitles will work for about an hour, and after the hour of a restart the subtitles are again blocked.

I'm almost 3 months fooling around with this, and i'm tired, does one of you guys know what i can do?

I just want to watch a movie with subtitles, and be protected.
