[Solved] OpenVPN 1.0.7: Manage multiple connections / accounts

Post by Mean » Mon Jun 06, 2016 9:55 am

Hi all,

I'm using the OpenVPN app with connection settings to my company since two years and I'm very satisfied. Now I installed openwrt on my server and configured OpenVPN.

Now I added the .ovpn file of my private connection to the app. First, both, my private and my business connection were shown, until I pressed the green "+" button, which suggested me to add an additional connection. This was not the case and it seems, the existing connection (which's .ovpn file had a different name than the new one) replaced the old connection.

Is the OpenVPN app able to manage multiple connections (so I can choose where to connect)? Is it perhaps a problem, that e.g. for both connections the ca crt file is named ca.crt? All others are named different.

I would appreciate if you could give me a hint.

Thanks and kind regards,

Dirk

I don't know about multiple connections but you may find this helps:

Thanks a lot. Sorry, I now found the solution when I gave ca.crt different names for each account.

In the app, where the profile is shown, I can switch my account / profile my clicking the row, checking the profile / account I want to use and then use the "Go back" in the upper right.

Sorry for that. Sometimes I'm completely blind. O:-)
