Issue with client on Win 10

Post by agardk » Wed May 18, 2016 5:46 pm

Hi all,

Our new Asus routers come with OpenVPN preinstalled so I am trying to roll out the clients to both Windows and Android devices.

I have had no issues with the client on the androids but when attempting to install on Asus T100 convertibles, once installed when I attempt to run the client I get no GUI. Hit the icon again and get a message that it is already running.

How do I the import key file and tell the client to establish a connection?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide...

Yes, there is an icon in the tray and on the Proxy tab there is a option to use the config file but that's it. No way that I can find to import or even point it at the file's location.

You download a client config file from a service provider ..
Or create one from scratch for use with your own VPN ..

See the HOWTO:
HOWTO: For OpenVPN Community Edition
