Tun/Tap Forwarding

Post by jwmhosting » Mon Mar 07, 2016 4:08 am

I am trying to implement the scenario described in Including multiple machines on the client side when using a routed VPN (dev tun) in the How-To section.

There is a sentence:
First, make sure that IP and TUN/TAP forwarding is enabled on the client machine.
. "IP" is a link to https://openvpn.net/faq.html#ip-forward, and "TUN/TAP" is a link to https://openvpn.net/faq.html#firewall Both links take me to the faq.html page. But the inter-page links are invalid. I scrolled down through the page and found the link to the IP Forwarding info. But I couldn't find any text on the page that appeared to be info on TUN/TAP forwarding.

Where is the information on setting up TUN/TAP forwarding?

Thanks.

Jerry

This simply means ensure your firewall (iptables) is not blocking you.
