iOS 9: VPN on demand does not work anymore

Hi,

since the update to iOS 9 the OpenVPN connection is not automatically (on demand) started anymore.

* Is the feature removed from iOS 9 or ist a bug in iOS9?
* Or does the OpenVPN Connect app need to be changed?
* Or does the config file need to be changed?

The only thing that has to be changed is the mobileconfig file. All infos can be found in the Apple documentation: https://developer.apple.com/library/pre ... ction.html

Did you get this to work? I regenerated my mobileconfig, using "Apple Configurator 2" but it never connects on demand.

The ONLY thing? Sure I have all day to waste trying an enterprise solution only to discover it doesn't work. How bout a simple enable checkbox, for "on demand" in the iOS app?

I heared that iOS 9.2 fixed the On-Demand problem .. I havn't tried it myself but have seen some reports saying it's fixed

Any update on this? What I did on my side was I installed the .mobileconfig but it doesn't connect. The connect slider is disabled.
