Transmission Daemon

Post by cvnntg » Mon Nov 02, 2015 6:37 pm

Hello,

I know this is a topic of discussion that's very common, but I cannot seem to find an answer that works for my scenario.

I've purchased a VPN through AirVPN.org, which is great.

My list of requirements that I would like to achieve is the following:
1. All data for Transmission goes through the VPN (tun0).
2. If the VPN goes down, Transmission does NOT fall back to my local network (eth0).
3. All other data on this machine (e.g. browsing data, etc) goes through my local network (eth0).

I've looked at various articles and tried many implementations using iptables OUTPUT, but I am not getting a successful run-through.

Thanks, everyone.
