Check if profile exists and check VPN status connection

Hi,

is possible check from another app if in the OpenVPN app exists profile with defined name? And is possible to check the status of VPN connection (enabled/disabled)?

I'm using for creating the profile and starting VPN code from this topic: topic13122.html

But I want also check if the profile exists and check the status of VPN connection (if I should start it or stop it).
