Hello,
I no longer want to exert the energy necessary to boot OpenVPN manually every time I want to use my FrootVPN connection. I am fine the VPN username and password login - but that's it.
I have been able to successfully auto-start OpenVPN upon logging into my OS account by doing the following:
Windows+R >> %appdata >> Microsoft folder >> Windows folder >> Start Menu >> Programs folder >> Startup folder >> Make a copy of "C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin\openvpn-gui.exe" file >> Paste file to Startup folder.
This procedure worked. Yet when I went to enter my information OpenVPN was not able to successfully login to FrootVPN because the program was not opened using Administrator Rights. I right-clicked the OpenVPN program file and checked the box that says "Run this program as an administrator."
Now OpenVPN does not auto-boot at all.
Any recommendations?
Thank you,
~Clipless
