I am currently attempting to write an iOS app similar to OpenVPN and I am currently tasked with creating the custom VPN protocol and its interation with iOS. I have read in past threads that OpenVPN cannot license or provide the iOS specific source code, but all posts are multiple years old and I am wanting to test the waters again. If access to the code is still restricted and no action from me or my company can unrestrict it, any information that would help point me to the right information on the web or a contact at Apple that would allow me to further develop a custom protocol that interacts with the VPN API would be greatly appreciated.
