I currently have an openvpn (Linux pc) server on my home lan using 192.168.5.*
I have gotten my iphone to connect with openvpn using 10.8.0.* as the vpn addresses.
my phone, over vpn, can ping the vpn server address 10.8.0.1, and the lan ip of the server. But it can not ping my lan router, or any other lan clients.
I've added a route of 10.8.0.0 to my lan router with the server pc address as the gateway, yet my phone still can not ping any lan client.
I do have a different lan pc, that can ping my iphone across the vpn connection, but the phone can not ping it back.
I'm not sure where my routing problem is if someone can offer any input.
I have tried my iphone vpn connection over 3G, and also my neighbors wifi, whose lan is 192.168.1.*
