Adding files to web root for SSL cert IP address validation

Hi,

I'm attempting to add SSL to an instance with an IP address instead of a domain name.

In order for Comodo to validate the IP address, they need to access a couple of files placed in the web root.

Can anyone tell me where in the filesystem I need to put them and any settings I need to temporarily change in order for them to do this?

I'm using an OpenVPN Amazon AMI.
