Problem with OpenVPN (Android)

Post by jkorac » Tue Mar 10, 2015 9:58 pm

Hi,

I have a problem with openVPN on android when I try to connect to my server. I used config which I use for computers already connected to my network, and it works flawlessly, but when I try it on my android device (Lenovo-A3300) I get this error:
OpenVPN core error: PolarSSL: error parsing cert certificate: X509 - the CRT/CRL/CSR format invalid, e.g. different type expected
I've found some possible solutions to this problem but neither of them works for me. Last two days I'm reading and re-reading all the FAQs I've found here on server, but with no luck. I also tried everything people said in this topic: topic15820.html , but it doesn't help. It won't work neither in version 1.1.13 nor in actual 1.1.16.

I also tried with different OpenVPN programs like "OpenVPN for Android 0.6.29" with no luck. Only thing I got from there is a little bit more information, so this is also a suggestion for future releases of OpenVPN Connect to include some kind of log file with more details.

I am asking for help because problem is obviously in config file or some of the cert files. I can copy whatever you need. Is it possible that problem is in the tun device that config uses? I'm really without ideas, and any help would be appreciated.
