Win7/64 BSOD with 2.3.6-I60x but not 2.3.6-I001

I downloaded openvpn-install-2.3.6-I602-x86_64.exe and openvpn-install-2.3.6-I601-x86_64.exe today and on two different Win7/64 computers I got reproducable BSOD bluescreens immediately after a connection has been established as signaled by the small popup at the bottom of the screen. Fortunately openvpn-install-2.3.6-I001-x86_64.exe works fine on both computers.
