Save password pernamently

Post by Sekiphp » Wed Jan 21, 2015 3:19 pm

Is there way how to store password to connection pernamently? I try to edit .ovpn configure files. I add a row: auth-user-pass auth.txt
But here is the problem. I use only password to connect. The password is not required.

What I have to write to auth.txt at first line (username)?

I have OpenVPN v1.0.3 because, newest version can't run on my PCs.

Thank's a lot!

I have 64b Windows 7, i5, 8GB RAM DDR3. I donť know why, but the newest version didn't want to connect me. So, my co-worker recommend me to use this version.

I advise you to use up to date version of OpenVPN otherwise your security is totally flawed.

1.0.3 is probably the GUI version not openvpns binary one unless you use AS version.

The current OpenVPN-GUI.exe is Version 5 ..

V1.05 GUI would still be out of date as would the openvpn.exe file.

This does sound like an Access Server client - Please confirm exactly which OpenVPN application you are using.

Please post details of openvpn version:

Code: Select all

C:\>openvpn --version
