My network is connecting from my Nexus 5 and I can pull up a web server on the Internet or on my LAN (via the VPN) but DNS does not work. My LAN has a local DNS server as the default.
I've tried both with the "Use Google DNS as backup" option set and unset. It didn't work either way.
I've also tried with both a cellular data connection and a WiFi connection (not on my LAN of course). Again no joy.
The only thing I've not tried is reverting my LAN to using a non-local DNS e.g. 8.8.8.8, I'm not sure if that will help or how to do that.
Any ideas on what settings might fix this?
Connected but no DNS resolution
