OpenVPN connect gets time out error in nexus 5 ver 4.4.4

Im getting a connection timeout error in google nexus 5 android ver 4.4.4
I found its a common error for google nexus 5 , Can anyone tell me how to fix this ?
Is this anything related to PolarSSL, i heard that PolarSSL 1.3.8 was released. could any one let me know when will openvpn connect android app gets the update ?
