Fails to open TUN interface when language is Arabic!

Hi,

It works fine when language is English, or even Chinese. But whenever I set it to Arabic then it fails to open the TUN interface.

Android version: 4.2.2
Device: Samsung 7" Galaxy Tab2
OpenVPN Connect version 1.1.14 and also 1.1.12

I can't seem to copy out the logfile but basically the last bits it writes are:

EVENT: ASSIGN_IP
TUN Error: cannot acquire tun interface socket
EVENT: TUN_IFACE_CREATE info='cannot acquire tun interface socket'
EVENT: DISCONNECTED
EVENT: CORE_THREAD_INACTIVE

----- OpenVPN Stop -----

I can take screenshots of the log if necessary, let me know. Btw, why not make it possible to copy the log?

Note: On my other device a Moto G with Android 4.4.2 it can connect just fine to the same server with same credentials/certs etc. while being in Arabaic language mode.
