SSL VPN iOS7 with OpenVPN not working (no DNS push)

I recently contacted the sophos support because VPN under iOS7 with OpenVPN does not work anymore regarding dns resolution.

SOPHOS UTM pushes the DNS config to openVPN but due to a bug in OpenVPN (at least Sophos says it's a bug in the software) the dns servers are not set.

Sophos UTM pushes config with the follwing command:

[dhcp-option] [DNS] [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX]

VPN connection itself works but no DNS, so only IP-based actions are successful.

Any help appreciated. Is this really a bug in OpenVPN and if so, will it be fixed?

Not sure what the issue is because "dhcp-option DNS X.X.X.X" is known to work fine in the OpenVPN Connect iOS client. It can be placed statically in the profile or pushed by the server.

Is it working for you in iOS 7? iOS 6 was no problem. But since Upgrade to 7 it. does Not work anymore.

It is now working. Was not a problem within openvpn but a config option set in sophos utm and pushed to the device (Domain Option ).

It might be the connection of internet, like I tried http://www.sunvpn.com plans, its pretty cool and full in terms of access.

I also have the issue of pushed DNS not being used by iOS version of OpenVPN client. Tried with both iPhone and iPad using latest version of both iOS 7 and OpenVPN Connect.
Works fine in Windows and OSX.

The only time it works with iOS is when I'm using the VPN for all traffic.
