Hi everyone,
I think if a solution exists to my problem it will be found by the members of this forum.
tl;dr version: I want to exclude my e-mail traffic from using the OpenVPN client. Is this possible, how?
longer version:
I have a rooted Android device and I have successfully installed OpenVPN and configured it to use vyprvpn service.
I work for a telecom operator and if I have the VPN running, I am unable to synchronize my e-mails, calendar etc.
Right now, I have to pause and reconnect the VPN connection every time I want to check my e-mail. (I have found a manual way to fix this by creating a Tasker task that pauses VPN whenever I run the e-mail app, but tis still doesn't solve my sync. issue.)
Is there a way to force certain apps (at least the stock mail app) to use a non-vpn connection while maintaining the VPN connection for all other apps?
Any and all help would be much appreciated.
