openvpn gui click connect

Im wondering if someone can help me or knows this please

i am using a arm mx device with openvpn droid, it is working great,

however i have a small issue that once setup i can click connect with a single mouse click BUT if i try to use the remote controll instead it wont allow me to just press ok.

i can pull up the symbols and then use that to connect on the remote but of course, that is a bit painful and getting up off the sofa to use the mouse ewww

is it perhaps better if i use tasker and send a start command via that

its just im using xbmc and its nice to be able to goto programs android apps and choose openvpn but then cant click connect on the remote by pressing ok

sorry realised that im using ics-openvpn i have asked the dev for help on this thanks
