A couple of strange things

Post by thedmcmeister » Sat Nov 23, 2013 3:37 am

Hi all

I've had an OpenVPN setup working for a number of weeks now, but today I had to restart my VPS.

When I went to restart OpenVPN, I found that the server had eaten its server.key and server.crt -- just disappeared!

I regenerated all my certificates and keys and now I can no longer connect to the internet though the VPN. It connects to the VPN fine, I can ping around the network but just not out. Literally nothing in the config has changed, the only things that have changes are the .key and .crt files. The client appears to connect to the server fine so this can not be the issue. Again, just a few hours ago everything worked fine, the only thing I have done is restart my server and regenerated the keys.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi again

Never mind, the iptables rules hadn't been saved so they needed re-applying. Odd.

If you want to delete this you can, mods. You could also leave it for future reference I guess?
