If it is, where can I get the source?

I'd like to know that as well. If it is open source would you please consider F-Droid (https://f-droid.org) as an alternative download location...

The GUI part is not open source afaik. The actual OpenVPN 3.x executable that both Android and iOS OpenVPN Connect clients contain is open source, but currently we only have a fairly outdated AGPLv3 -licensed snapshot of it. James said he'd push the 3.x codebase to Git soon, so that other devs can start hacking with it.

Thank you for the response and info!
Please consider switching to open source for the GUI as well. It's still possible to offer a (paid) closed source enterprise app with more features...
This is not supposed to be a request I would be happy if you just thought about it ;)
There's already a similar app which is open source: https://code.google.com/p/ics-openvpn/
Thanks again!

All I can find is the outdated AGPL version previously referenced. Is this available somewhere??? In the famous words of Judge Smails, "Well? We're waiting!".
