OpenVPN Server behind Cisco firewall

Post by rg2013 » Tue Jul 16, 2013 3:19 pm

Hello,

I'm attempting to set up an OpenVPN server behind a firewall. I have static NAT configured on the firewall to translate between the public IP and the private IP. Ports 943 and 443 are open on the firewall for the OpenVPN access server.

I'm able to establish a VPN tunnel from a remote client using the OpenVPN connect client. I can access shares on the network behind the firewall. When I attempt to run our ERP software, it's extremely slow and I see connection errors. I'm wondering if there is something else I need to configure so I can run the ERP software. I tried installing the executables for the ERP to the remote client so all that should be required is database access connections and that didn't help much.

Any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this?

Thanks,
Rod
