Hi,
I am a newbie to both Linux Platform and OpenVPN. I have downloaded AsteriskNow installed on CentOS release 5.9 (Final). Now I would like to install and configure OpenVPN on this server. I was trying to install it using terminal but the below error message comes out.
Can anyone please explain step by step procedure to install and configure OpenVPN.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sayeed.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.

Re: OpenVPN on CentOS 5.9 Installation Failed
I'll take this one further: AsteriskNOW is a customized release designed for PBX services. Don't put OpenVPN on it, it's just a really terrible idea.maikcat wrote:hi there,

Re: OpenVPN on CentOS 5.9 Installation Failed
It is not good practice to run things off a PBX server! You should let it be... You never know what kind of quirks you will run into.
It may work and that's wonderful, but if you run into a bug down the road you never know what may cause it...

Re: OpenVPN on CentOS 5.9 Installation Failed
if you want help provide more info (configs/logs)...
also did you forward the port from your router to elastix itself?
again with so little info i cant tell what is going wrong..
