Hello all,
I have managed to setup an openVPN server back at my home network and was able to connect to it behind my college dorm network on TCP port 443.
Before continuing I want to explain my situation and goals.

My home network is on 192.168.1.0 subnet 255,255,255,0, gateway 192.168.1.1

When I connect to VPN it assigns my laptop 10.8.0.6 (it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting but thats for another topic)

Now this is what I want my VPN to do:
  • be able to bypass college network and open blocked ports so I can play online games, run utorrent, etc...
  • be able to see the WORKGROUP shared folders and connect to them
This is basically it. Can I achieve that theoretically?
