Hello, I am new to VPN, which I find fantastic, and I am trying to figure out some things.
I have managed to link 4 different places with openVPN. All are windows mashines(XP, Vista, win7) and one is an android 2.3 device on which I installed the feat VPN application.
This network seems to work OK. Every PC connects to the server and can have access to each other and to the internet. Internet is not going through the VPN (I hope I am not saying foolish things) but the VPN is going thrugh the internet.
FEAT VPN also connects my mobile phone to the server and I can for example see a video camera that is connected on a remote place through the VPN. The problem is that when the VPN is connected on the mobile phone the phone looses internet connectivity. I cannot download mail or visit a page in the browser. I would like to have the VPN connected all the time on the mobile. Is there a way to overcome this problem?
Another thing is that I want to have access to computers/devices that are connected to the LAN of every VPNed computer without having to istall openVPN on each of them. On the guide it says something about ROUTE, but I didn't understand it. Is there any more newbie info for this? For example there is a printer in my local network at home , where the VPN server is located. How can I have access to this printer from office through VPN?
Thank you
FEAT VPN. Works but mo internet on mobile device

Re: FEAT VPN. Works but mo internet on mobile device SOLVED
using the howto, (expanding the vpn to the server side), I have Internet on the mobile when connected to the vpn. The traffic is directed through the VPN server.
