Problem with my server

Hello, i have been working on this for nearly 2 weeks now. i have tried the #openvpn channel in freenode and i was not able to get it cleared up.

I host a openvpn server. It works for the most part. There is a buddy of mine that also uses my openvpn server. He wants to host a minectaft server. He has his MC server all setup. Openvpn has been installed. it connects and the ip does change. when navigating to ipchicken it displays the openvpn ip. but when it comes time for someone to connect. he wants them to use the openvpn ip and not his personal ip. it does not work. the connection is not Established.

how might i forward the port "25565" to my buddy's server that is on my openvpn server?

any thing that is needed to answer my question will be given upon request
