Mac OpenVPN Connect client - disable start on login

Post by swrobel » Sun Aug 26, 2012 7:34 pm

I installed OpenVPN Connect on my Mac from my Access Server that I set up on EC2 and it keeps adding itself to login items (so that it runs on startup) every time I run it, even if I manually remove it from login items. I'd rather only have it run when I explicitly want to use it. Is there a way to prevent it from always adding itself back to Login Items?

The support system is at http://support.openvpn.net/

Regarding your question; sorry, but that's just the way the program works. It should not cause any problems with currently existing software and connections when it's disconnected, though.
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
