TAP driver install error (certificate issue)

Post by lolmannz » Tue Aug 14, 2012 2:18 am

I'm trying to install the OpenVPN package for Windows 7 64-bit, and having issues installing the TAP driver on a specific computer.

Log extract:
! sig: Verifying file against specific (valid) catalog failed! (0x800b0109)
! sig: Error 0x800b0109: A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider.

Any ideas?

Try the latest version, or previous. Run as administrator. If none helps: its Win7 problem. I've seen Win7 which will not install Adobe Flash because of certificate error. In this case ask Microsoft or reinstall the system.
