Unidentified Network

Post by rdubois89 » Thu May 31, 2012 12:18 pm

All,

I have been very successful at configuring and using the VPN client. I am having difficulty with a new laptop. Once connected the VPN adapter is identified as an unknown network. This is preventing total access to my domain. I have searched and searched for a resolution with little success. I have shut off the firewall, I have reset winsock, I have verified and reverified my config file with a client that works.

Thank you for the assistance.

the tap-win32 adapter is not part of any trusted network and hence domain access is not allowed. Try this suggestion from
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/285 ... ed-network after the VPN has come up:
  • run a CMD.EXE as administrator / with elevated privileges
  • type:

    Code: Select all

    route delete 0.0.0.0
  • now try to make the tap-win32 adapter a trusted (private or work) adapter
