Connection to my account has failed

Post by krassy » Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:45 am

I am a first time user of VPN and i cant get it to work.

System line:
Sat Mar 03 13:40:05 2012 OPTIONS IMPORT: --ifconfig/up options modified
Sat Mar 03 13:40:05 2012 OPTIONS IMPORT: route options modified
Sat Mar 03 13:40:05 2012 OPTIONS IMPORT: --ip-win32 and/or --dhcp-option options modified
Sat Mar 03 13:40:05 2012 ROUTE default_gateway=192.168.10.1
Sat Mar 03 13:40:05 2012 There are no TAP-Win32 adapters on this system. You should be able to create a TAP-Win32 adapter by going to Start -> All Programs -> OpenVPN -> Add a new TAP-Win32 virtual ethernet adapter.
Sat Mar 03 13:40:05 2012 Exiting

I have tried to add virtual ethernet adapter, but it simply just does nothing, and if i try to remoe adapthers, it says no adapters were removed. I closed my antivirus software and googled for solutions, wich none have worked yet.

It problaby has simple solution, and im sure you can tell me :)
Waiting for replies and thx is forward...

the title of your post is very misleading ...

make sure that you're adding a tap-win32 adapter with the right privileges; you need to run as 'Administrator' with elevated privileges on Vista/7
