Installing VPN Client on Windows2003 Server not working

Post by jlabuelo » Tue Jan 31, 2012 4:53 pm

Hi all

We have a problem configuring our VPN with OpenVPN. We have installed th VPN server on an Ubuntu Machine which gets the IP 10.8.0.1.

OpenVPN Clients installed on Windows XP machines work fine, but for Clients installed on Windows 2003 Server they get their IP assigned (10.8.0.10 for example) but it is impossible to make ping from the rest of the Windows XP Clients, or the Ubuntu Server, or from the "Windows 2003 Server" VPN Client to the rest of the elements of the net.

We have installed the OpenVPN Client software, and then run it as "Administrator" in these Windows 2003 machines, but as I said even with the right IP assigned, there is not conectivity possible from/to these machines.

Is there anything we are missing or that we have done incorrectly?

Thanks a lot
