Ehernet Bridging Problem ?

Does ethernet bridging in tap mode creates any issue with local traffic initiated for other network as local lan interface losses its original identity?

As br0 bridges lan interface and tap0 interface and original identity of eth0 (lan) is lost
so how about local inititated traffic for other network routed ?

and what about local webserver running on local lan interface will it be working ?
