no access to server

Post by timmy » Mon Jan 16, 2012 12:51 pm

hi,

i seriously have no clue wtf is going on. The only line of connection to the server
is the vpn port. All other ports are pretty much dead!

these are the open ports, thats they should be open:

PORT STATE SERVICE
25/tcp open smtp
53/tcp open domain
69/tcp open tftp
111/tcp open rpcbind
443/tcp open https
914/tcp open unknown
915/tcp open unknown
943/tcp open unknown
10000/tcp open snet-sensor-mgmt

943 is my vpn, what 914 and 915 is, i dunno.
my ssh is 69 ( i changed this port to prevent crawlers pounding on 22)
but no signal on 69, dns doesnt respond nor does webmin (10000)

i do remember that port 80 and 943 don't work with each other.
Since i dont have apache running on this server have i turned it off.

anyone can help me out on this one?
Loggin to my provider loggin panel do i see i still have a INT
a Rescue Image: with options like Rescue 1.0 (amd64)
and Rescue 1.0 (x86)

seems like this is my only shot to get access again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Its a Centos 5 machine with Openvpn 1.8
