Would it be secure to enter your credit card online over a VPN? Currently I'm thinking of using OpenVPN. Need the VPN so that the IP is different than mine; trying to cheat SponsorPay, which is basically a free way of getting virtual gaming currency that you would otherwise get with real money.
For those wondering, I need the credit card to do a Netflix 30 day trial offer.

traffic between vpn endpoints is encrypted using a cipher algorithm,
openvpn uses the algorithm with its whatever weeknesses no more no less
its better you use AES than DES but keep in mind
that sooner or later the packets will leave the tunnel and outside
the tunnel the traffic is unencrypted..
