Hi,
currently I'm using the Bintec/Funkwerk VPN client (which is an OEM version of the NCP client) but because of the license cost involved I'm considering using OpenVPN in our corporate network - 3 Windows Servers, 15 Windows Workstations and about 10 laptops which are supposed to work remotely via the VPN
I suppose running a Windows Server / Outlook 2003 / Exchange Server setup will be no problem but I'm wondering if the VOIP telephony system we are using will be working via OpenVPN as well.
The VOIP system is called Swyx and uses a central gateway server with 5 ISDN lines for external connections. For the internal communication the gateway just acts as some kind of mediator - after connecting two clients, the actual audio stream goes directly client-to-client, not over the gatway.
So two VPN clients need to be able to communicate directly with each other - is that feasible?
And is there a lot of configuration work involved if new clients are added (such as adding routes for the new client to all existing ones?)
Thanks
Thomas
Tunnel-to-tunnel VOIP possible?
