Cath 22 "Search" is really unhelpful...

[grimbly grumble time]Maybe this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it because the search terms "are too common".
Which brings me to my gripe.

I have problem. It's probably a common problem and one a lot of beginners have. So, instead of jumping straight in and making a post, and getting replies such as "this has been done to death, use the search, blah blah..." I try to use Search.

But I get the message:

The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: through dns internet server.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards

So, how can I search for a common problem is the search doesn't like common terms?[/grimbly grumble time]

Yes search is basically broken for now. Take peace in knowing you're not alone with your frustration. Even the best of us has come undone with the common words problem.
