Hello,
We have been using OpenVPN for several months now and have had no problems until recently. Over the past week and a half every day, in the mid afternoon, traffic over the VPN comes to a crawl. We have been over the config which seems fine, and the server doesn't seem to be overloaded. We're just looking for some outside ideas on why the problem would be occurring all of the sudden.

Re: Daily slow downs
Have you considered the possibility that your network carriage service may be suffering at a level outside of the VPN? EG, its not the OpenPVN config files, but the network provider which is causing the traffic to slow down....mauger wrote:Hello,

Without a proper context its hard to help you. You didn't tell us if its a LAN at home, and an Intranet or WAN.
The fact that you say its every day at mid-afternoon really is a bug clue that the problem is not about config files at all.
