I just noticed this when I started OpenVPN
Thu Apr 21 15:11:37 2011 Warning: route gateway is ambiguous: 192.168.1.1 (2 matches)
What does this mean, and is this a routing issue on the client side or server side?
THANKS

Re: OpenVPN Route gateway is ambiguous
it's an ambiguity on the side where the log message appears; it could be related to the fact that your local GW is 192.168.1.1 and the server pushes out a new gateway of 192.168.1.1 as well. Most likely your routing table looks a bit funny on the side where you're starting openvpn.

So no worries then, just something that happens from time to time?

he is trying to tell you that you need to plan carefully your ip subneting
for your clients..
and no it is not supposed to happen.
