OpenVPN wont let me connect to anything other than truenas

hiya,

new to openVPN. I've got everything set up and kina of working just with a few small issues.

when my client is connected they can only access my truenas shares and the truenas interface. (truenas is what is hosting openVPN) but nothing else at all.

my main LAN is on 192.168.0.1 and openVPN is using 192.168.1.1.

in the additional perimeters i have:
push "route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0"
push "route 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0"
push "dhcp-option DNS 192.168.0.100" <- this is the main IP im trying to get on as i have some other services running on here i need my clients to be able to accsess.
push "route-gateway 192.168.0.1"

should there be something else i have? any help is greatly appreciated

In addition to ^^^, the firewall(s) must allow the traffic.
