Failed to Import Profile, File is Binary error-iPhone13Pro

Good afternoon
I have searched for answers but have not had luck so I apologize if this has been answered.

When using the OpenVPN app on iPhone 13pro and trying to import an OpenVPN profile I created from my NETGEAR Nighthawk RAX120 router I get the error message “Failed to Import Profile, File is Binary”. I tried to attach a picture of the error but was unable.

Asking for help to get past this.

Probably your router is outputting a corrupted file, or the file is corrupted during file transfer. Try opening the file in notepad for Windows prior to sending it to your phone.

Thank you for your reply. I was finally able to get it to connect by logging into the router on my phone and completely setting it up through my iPhone and not sending myself the certificate via email.
