Tunnelblick-Viscosity-Shimo - What's The Best OS X Client?

Post by DasFox » Wed Mar 23, 2011 11:53 pm

Well trying to find a VPN client for OpenVPN for OSX and these are the 3 listed for OSX on OpenVPN...

Anyone have any experience with this and if any of them are technically better, better security?

Which of the 3 is the best?

A little technical run down on which is the best would be appreciate too...

THANKS

The only one I've used is Tunnelblick. It seems to work well enough. A "pro" (in my book) is that it takes a regular openvpn config file. I'm pretty sure it's merely a gui front-end for an openvpn binary.

I had problems on a couple macs with it having some goofy problems with folder permissions. They seem to have a reasonably active user community.
