vmware editon and suddenlink cable

Post by kde32 » Fri Mar 11, 2011 1:37 am

I can use the system out of the box so to speak from a local subnet, but can't get it to work through suddenlink. I can only assume they are blocking port 443 since they block 80. I took the machine to a friends house, and redirected all requests on 443 to my machine. It worked there too. So, I took it back home and changed the port in the GUI to 444, 500, and 442; and changed the router accordingly. Bottom line, still doesn't work. Anybody have any idea what I am missing. Yes I did restart the service after each change.
