PING: transmit failed, error code 1232.

i keep getting PING: transmit failed, error code 1232. when trying to ping the sevrer now?

nothing changed just started happening all of a sudden?

the error message listed in the subject returns many hits on google , which have nothing to do with OpenVPN but all with Vista/7; try reconnecting the client ; and , as maikcat said, without more information it's impossible to tell what is going on.

The question was cryptic because the error i get is cryptic - that is all i get!

i'll restart everything see how i get on.

The reason i think it's openvpn related is because i can ping google - but not other vpn clients.

one vpn client cannot ping another? add
client-to-client
to the server config and try again. without a server and client config file we cannot help you much further...
