openvpn for mac help.....

I hope someone can help....

Using Tunnelblick for openvpn on a macbook pro....connects fine

Using RDC for mac...connects fine in office (no vpn)

I can connect to the SBS2003 server fine via 75.xxx.etc

I have connected to the computer I am trying to access from 2 places...both assigned a 10.xxx.etc ip

RDC cannot find the PC from any location with a 196.168.etc IP (at least the 4 I have tried thus far.)

XP Pro based laptop can connect just fine in all locations.

Is there a setting or something I can edit to fix this without changing the IP address for my office router? this was suggested by my IT guy.
