Hi Folks,
again another thought on openvpn from my side.
I am running a openvpn server on the latest openwrt release version (19.7) but I am facing a problem.
Last time I edited a ccd file, I got some error into it (typo), which shouldn't be too dramatic at that point. I assumed that the specific client wasn't able to connect. But no, the whole server crashed with the other attached clients also.
So actually one single invalid ccd file could bring a whole server down?
Has anyone elese have seen this behavior? Maybe it is related to the openvpn port for openwrt only?
In any case it would be helpful to have some kind of strategy to verify ccd files or at least leave the client with invalid ccd file unconnected but don't force the server to go down completely.
Anyone else with that problem?
Thanks
Prevent server from crashing due to invalid ccd file

Re: Prevent server from crashing due to invalid ccd file
Server don't crash due to invalid CCD files. They do throw an error message but that is all.
