Is it possible to have more than one client-accepting OVPN-server in one VPN?
Or can you only have one "main" OVPN-server to which all clients have to connect to get access to the VPN?

A modern PC could easily run a few thousand OpenVPN instances ..

Of course I know that...but that wasn't even my question.
What I mean is if it is possible to have more than one OVPN-server in "server-mode" in one VPN, accepting clients, or do I have to create two instances of OVPN where one is in server-mode (to accept "road-warriors") and one in client-mode (to connect to the "main" OVPN-server)?

You can run separately, a server and a client on the same machine ..
