Assign Public IP's through Ovpn
Hello,
We have successfully configured Open VPN server on a windows server OS, almost every thing is configured successfully and working fine for us.
Just one thing still pending that we want to assign public IP's to each session of OpenVPN, wouldn't want to use NAT, is it possible that OpenVPN server give Public IPs to each client who and established connection via dialing OpenVPN, We have 60 additional IP with the server where OpenVPN installed.
Awaiting for you reply.

Re: Assign Public IP's through Ovpn
Hello maikcat,
Yes We are ISP providing internet through cable locally, we using VPN to authenticate our clients and providing public IP's to each VPN session, Already providing via PPTP windows RRAS.
Some of our clients are asking that we want to use OPEN VPN to authenticate our services and using internet.
Do you know how can we assign PUBLIC IP's without NAT to Openvpn clients?
Regards,
Jebran.

hi there,
assigning ips to your openvpn clients is openvpns job (ccd files)
NAT on the other hand it depends on how you will design your network topology...

Hi,
Thanks for suggestion.
I have also tried (ccd) files process this will be assigning public IPs, but it was assigning IP's to specific username or client certificate, we need to assign IP randomly from our IP range.
I think you got my point.
Jebran
